This policy explains what The Transport Buddy LLC does with the information you give us when you request a quote, call us, or use this website. It covers this site only.
What we collect
When you submit the quote form we collect the details you type into it:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- The pickup and delivery ZIP codes for your shipment
- The year, make, and model of the vehicle
- Your trailer preference and the earliest date the vehicle can move
We also receive standard technical information that any web server records, such as your browser type and the page you arrived from.
Why we collect it
We use your details for one purpose: to price your shipment, find a carrier for it, and keep you informed while it is in transit. To arrange the move we share the pickup and delivery information with the carrier assigned to your vehicle. That carrier needs the addresses and a working phone number to complete the job.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to unrelated marketing companies.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and shipment records are kept for as long as we need them for the shipment itself and for the record keeping that federal brokerage rules require. You can ask us to delete anything not covered by those obligations.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run behavioural tracking. Fonts and icons are loaded from third party content networks, which receive your IP address as part of that request. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand website traffic and page views. This analytics service is privacy-friendly and does not track users across sites or use cookies for identification.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time and we will close the file. Email or call the number on this site and say what you want done.
Security
Quote requests travel over an encrypted connection. Access to shipment records is limited to the people who need it to move your vehicle. No system is perfect, so if something happens that affects your information we will tell you.
